Biotechnology platform
One platform, two destinations
The same science of innovation and biopolymers serves two markets that rarely intersect.
OnFarm AI Biofactory
Modular and containerized bioreactors that produce bio-inputs on the farm itself, from liquid organic waste. Bacillus consortia optimized by CRISPR and predictive modeling by AI. No cold chain, no long-distance logistics.
NanoPHA-AI®
Biodegradable PHB/PHBV nanocarriers for targeted delivery of active ingredients, with AI-guided formulation. Oncological theranostics, biodispersants, and specialized deliveries — such as NanoPHA™, for cancers like TNBC, GI, and melanoma.

Who we are
We seek the best of biology for our life
We are a biotechnology deep-tech company that transforms biomass and agro-industrial waste into high-value products: precision bio-inputs for agriculture and biodegradable nanocarriers for healthcare.
Our core science lies in using bacteria and yeast—engineered when necessary and always monitored by AI—to produce biopolymers and bio-inputs right where they are consumed, rather than thousands of kilometers away.

What we do
A new approach to our biology
The human body is home to more than 10 trillion bacteria, present in every organ without exception—there are more bacteria than cells in us. This symbiosis profoundly shapes our health throughout life, and it is from this symbiosis that we seek inspiration for innovation.
How we do
STRAIN PROSPECTING AND ENGINEERING
Consortia of Bacillus and yeasts for nitrogen fixation, phosphorus solubilization, and PHA synthesis—incorporating applied gene editing where it yields real gains, under full traceability and biosafety compliance.

BIOPOLYMER PRODUCTION
PHA/PHB and their nanostructuring for the delivery of active compounds to aid in the diagnosis and treatment—theranostics—of diseases such as cancer.
ONFARM BIOFACTORY
It transforms agro-industrial waste on-site into traceable bio-inputs and biopolymers. Each unit processes up to 20 m³ every 48 hours, delivering field results of up to 18% higher productivity and 20% lower costs

Product Roadmap
Our MVP validated the technological pathway for PHB—the leading representative of polyhydroxyalkanoates. Biodegradable and biocompatible, it serves as the raw material for two priority initiatives:
UNIFESP — Materials Innovation Center
- Prof. Dr. Dayane B. Tada — nanostructuring and targeted delivery. Four peer-reviewed publications underpin the architecture of NanoPHA-AI®.
- Prof. Dr. Ana Paula Lemes — polymer engineering for biopackaging and biomedical applications, TecPBio Laboratory.
Georgia Southern University — USA
Validation of PHA and its application as a polymeric nanoparticle for active ingredient delivery.
Spartners / Paris-Saclay — France
Genetic engineering of PHA-producing bacteria, utilizing CRISPR tools to create a library of strains and metabolic variants, as well as to control biopolymer composition and develop materials tailored for various agricultural, industrial, and biomedical applications.
Asian Hub — APAC
BioUs is expanding into the Asian market through strategic connections in innovation, the bioeconomy, and healthtech, focusing on Singapore, South Korea, and China as gateways for scaling across the APAC region.
